Mandatory OHS training - winter 2024/2025  - for all new students

We would like to remind you about the implementation of mandatory OHS training addressed to all newly admitted students, except for those who, as part of their current education at the Wrocław University of Technology, have completed OHS training in the form of e-learning and no more than 5 years have passed since the completion of the training.

Date of the OHS training: from October 15 to November 27

 

How do I start health and safety training?

If you study in the USOS system, you will find OHS Training in your subjects. When you click on the training name on the page that opens, a link directing to the training will appear in the Moodle row. It will be available to you when you are enrolled in the training.

ePortal-the WUST e-learning platform (pwr.edu.pl)

The condition for successful completion of the training is to read the course training material and obtain at least 70% correct answers from the final test.

What should I do if I encounter a problem while working with the Wrocław University of Science and Technology ePortal?

The ePortal platform is supported by the E-learning Section. In case of problems with the operation of the portal, send your request to: zdalne@pwr.edu.pl describing your problem in detail (if possible, attach a screenshot of the situation). Use your student e-mail address in correspondence, this will give you confidence that your application will be accepted and handled correctly.

 

New student login - student mail, usos

 

As part of your studies at Wroclaw University of Technology, you have been assigned an album number, which will be your main identification number during your studies. It can be found in the IRK system in the personal forms under the education tab (https://irk.usos.pwr.edu.pl/pl/profile/dataset/education/) in the Album Number field. The number is in the form of six digits.

 

The next steps to follow knowing your album number are:

Activate your student mailbox. The email address is in the form: numer_albumu@student.pwr.edu.pl. Detailed information on how to activate the student mailbox can be found at https://di.pwr.edu.pl/uslugi/poczta/pierwsze-logowanie  . In case of problems, send a ticket to pomoc+poczta@pwr.edu.pl.

 

In order to log in to the information systems, it is necessary to know your unique login to the information systems and set an individual password for access. Having an active student mailbox, you can proceed to activate your individual account. Instructions on how to do this can be found at https://di.pwr.edu.pl/uslugi/uslugi-katalogowe/reset-lub-pierwsze-ustawienie-hasla . In case of problems, please send a request to pomoc+ad@pwr.edu.pl.

 

This operation will be possible from August 8, 2024.

 

Having a login and password set in the previous step allows you to log into the USOS system at https://web.usos.pwr.edu.pl . In this system, in the first place, from August 12 to 14, 2024, it will be possible to apply for a place in a Student House (tab For All, then Applications). Detailed information on applying for a place in a Student House can be found on the website of the Department of Student and Doctoral Aid at https://dps.pwr.edu.pl/domy-studenckie .

 

Other information on IT services made available to students and other information on studying will be provided on an ongoing basis through the USOS system and student mail.

Guidelines for awarding diplomas to graduates of Wrocław University of Science and Technology:

  1. Before graduation, a student shall apply for the issuance of a diploma of completion of studies and a diploma supplement in the JSOS system. The University prepares a diploma of completion of studies together with a diploma supplement within 30 days of graduation.
  2. Diplomas and diploma supplements shall be issued to graduates of Wrocław University of Science and Technology who completed their studies after 23 June 2021 by the Office for Educational Affairs - Office for Diploma Personalisation. Diploma Supplements are issued by the Deans' Offices of the faculties.
  3. After the diploma is prepared, the graduate receives information via e-mail with a link to the date reservation.
  4. The diploma is collected individually, in building A1, room 137, after booking the appointment in the queue system.
  5. The graduate confirms the receipt of the diploma and its copies on the personalized diploma receipt form.
  6. It is possible to hand in the diploma to a person who has a special power of attorney signed by a graduate of the University. Specimen available below.


NOTE: The Diploma Supplement is issued by the student's home faculty by appointment at the Dean's Office.

Due to the settlement of strict accounting forms in the period from December 11, 2022 to January 13, 2023, it will not be possible to issue new ID cards and extend ID cards / instead of ID cards, you can receive a certificate of study.

Dear students, 

Mailboxes for students are created automatically after matriculation.

A mailbox on the GMail platform will be set up for each new student at Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

To log in to a new mailbox:

  1. Go to the website http://poczta.student.pwr.edu.pl
  2. Enter the student e-mail address (index@student.pwr.edu.pl) and select "Next"
  3. On the next page, click "Forgot your password?"
  4. Then click "Try another way"
  5. The website will propose to send a verification code to a secondary e-mail address. This is the e-mail address provided during recruitment.
  6. A message with a verification code will be sent to the secondary address, which must be entered in the form in the next step
  7. Then create a password.
  8. Log in to GMail with your new password.
