BIM Summer School 2019 – BIMSSC 2019 (ISEP Porto 10-23 July 2019)

The Architecture, Engineering and Construction sector has known a considerable growth in recent years, mainly based on incorporation of information systems and digital tools supporting the design, execution and maintenance of constructions.

The Building Information Modelling (BIM) emerges as a modernization and restructuring methodology for the construction industry, promoting increased efficiency and productivity in the sector.

Due to its importance, ISEP promotes the 1st edition of the BIM Summer School (BIMSSC 2019) from 10 to 23 July 2019. This summer school is mainly aimed for international students, being also available for students for Portuguese institutions, as well as professionals in the engineering and architecture sector.

The course syllabus includes 90 hours of classes, distributed by 9 modules, and visits to companies, talks by invited lecturers and social events.

The course will be lectured in English by ISEP staff and will invite experts from universities and companies having also the institutional support of Autodesk and BILT Europe.
